Gail Squires

GAIL SQUIRES, was born in the Island of Trinidad and Tobago. She began dancing at the age of 14 with El Socorro group in the Prime Minister’s Best Village Competition.


She has trained in jazz and modern and took classes in African and contemporary styles with Ballet Creole and COBA.


Gail has and performed in Dance Caribe's Veni Zante Production in 1996.


She is the co-director with the Flambeaux Performing Arts and a member with the Caribbean Canadian Dance Network Inc. Gail enjoys acting and playing netball works as a transit operator for the city of Vaughan.


She is a proud mother of a son and is happy to be a part of Dance Caribe 20th anniversary Sayamanda.
